I really enjoyed getting to read the stories of some of the back characters of other novels I've read. I was disappointed in the Miles' story in the Gift of Christmas Past because he didnt seem to be anything like what he has been in other stories and he seemed clueless to some things that he apparently knew in his past so I guess you just have to take this story with a bit of grain and just think of it as its own story.
The other stories were great and I highly recommend this collection.
